7 Days a Week: 5:30 AM–5 PM I’m not 100% sure, but it’s the only bait shop by Fort Myers Beach, and on your way to Sanibel or Punta Rassa, I’d recommend it.

Anderson’s Tackle Inc. also offers rod repair, so if you’ve got a broken guide or multiple broken guides on your favorite rod, they’ve got you covered for having them fixed.

Anderson’s Tackle Inc. opened in 2010 with 1,200 square feet of retail space, plus an additional 400 square feet of backroom operations for rod and reel repair and administrative requirements. In 2013, we added 1,600 square feet to bring the total space to 3,200 square feet. In 2016, we added another 2,400 square feet for a total physical presence of 5,600 square feet. The additional space will provide an ample area for additional in-store products, warehousing, and webstore order fulfillment.

Owner, John Anderson, has fished our local waters since 1985. He also has fishing experience in Illinois, New Jersey, South Carolina, and throughout the Florida Keys. Prior to moving to Fort Myers, John spent five years on Key Largo, Florida. Before opening this store, John had 5 years of experience managing the fishing tackle department in his parents’ hardware store here in Fort Myers.
