How To Make a Freeline Rig for Fishing live-bait

What is Freeline fishing?

Freeline fishing in Florida is the most productive method to use whenever you have the option of using either cut bait or live bait with the water current.
When you use a freeline, the fish will have the impression that the bait is more natural because of how it is presented to them.
When you use other equipment, such as sinkers and swivels, in close proximity to the bait, this is in contrast to what happens.

You won’t be successful in catching fish if you use gear such as sinkers and swivels, but there is a time and a place for the kind of fishing that you are doing.

In addition, you might find that in order to catch certain species, you have to trick them into attacking first. This is something that you have to do in order to succeed.

Having said that, this is not always the case.

Freeline fishing does have one drawback, and that is the possibility that your bait will float on the surface of the water if you are fishing in an area that has a strong current. This can be an issue if you are trying to catch fish in an area that has strong currents.

This is not what we want, so we are hoping that by using live bait, we will be able to give it more freedom to swim around.

However, birds have the potential to cause problems in these areas.

If you aren’t paying attention to your fishing rod and reel, it’s possible that birds will swoop down and pick up your bait that’s floating in the water, and they may even tip over your fishing pole in the process.

When you are ready to cast your line into the water, you should never leave your rod and reel unattended in any circumstance.
